Hi, I’m Candi Rose.

As the granddaughter of a WW11 P-47 Thunderbolt pilot who flew 68 life-threatening missions, I’ve always had a profound respect for our military as well as an overwhelming desire to learn about what goes through the minds of those courageous enough to fight and put their lives on the line for our freedoms.

Because of my personal interest regarding that particular war, I came to understand the literal meaning of "Live Free or Die" and the importance of our 2A rights.

At a young age, I unexpectedly experienced my freedom taken from me, which taught me…to be extremely grateful for the smallest things in life including my ability to walk down the street freely, which most people take for granted.

While I’ve had guns pretty much my entire adult life, it wasn’t until 2020 when I, like most of us, had a wake up call in regards to our freedoms. So I decided to take my training to another level. I made the decision that knowing solely how to shoot a gun wasn’t good enough for me and I needed real life tactical training.

I wanted to learn how to shoot under pressure. When I first started I found myself distracted while others were shooting to the left and to the right of me with bright muzzle flashes of fire and light, and other things such as: how to keep moving while staying focused with loud bangs from rifles ringing out, casings hitting me from all directions, and people yelling at me, as we trained in miserable conditions with cold rain. Reality hit me with how much I did not know and needed to learn.

I dedicated myself to learning as much as I could. Now I know how to clear jams while shooting and moving towards the target. Shooting and reloading in weird, uncomfortable positions with my “off hand”, in the quickest time possible and doing it all while being extremely tired. I also learned things such as: how to properly tie and secure a tourniquet in under a minute with people shouting at the top of their lungs, while “red blood” was being poured all over me and then get up and run with circulation to my leg cut off, while continuing to shoot at my targets and guard my partner. I learned how to become so comfortable with my weapon that I would never hesitate again when I picked it up and I would instinctively know exactly what I needed to do without second guessing myself.

I was determined to learn what those in the military learned and so I began to train with veterans across the nation on my quest to become the best civilian trained patriot I could become(and while I’ve learned A LOT- and I’d say I know more than most women as well as most men in the USA-which given the state of our country isn’t that hard to do, I realize I have only learned a sliver of their knowledge because nothing can replace the actual training of being in the military.)

The work that I have done with these veterans inspired me to create the Let’s Train Campaign. This is a campaign where I train with veterans and I share the experiences through videos and photos with my community and I help to bring awareness & clients to their training facilities and classes.

Since then, I have incorporated situational awareness training as well because it was a way to be able to train with my daughter along with other women, in environments where they are more likely to be harassed or attacked, rather than on the battlefield.

What began as a passionate hobby, quickly and unexpectedly grew into a business. Now I use my voice to advocate for the 2A community, work with sponsors & affiliates nationwide in our industry and I’m honored to be invited to train with the true hero’s of America, which has all greatly expanded my circle of influence.

If you’re interested in working with me and/or training with me, let’s chat and see how we can help and support each other.
